ACCP Workshop – Brainstorming ASEAN Product Recall Guidelines - Day 4 highlights
Day 4 of the ACCP Workshop shifted toward co creation, with delegates working together to shape the foundations of the ASEAN Regional Guidelines for Recalling Unsafe or Defective Products. The session began with the presentation of the Inception Report, followed by a discussion of current recall practices and common gaps across ASEAN. Delegates then collaborated to define what “success” should look like at national and regional levels.
Today’s Focus:
• Reviewing ASEAN’s current recall landscape and identifying shared challenges.
• Agreeing on the guiding vision, scope, and expected outcomes for the new guidelines.
• Outlining next steps and drawing inspiration from OECD’s Product Recall Portal.
A strong close to the workshop, laying the groundwork for a harmonised regional framework that supports safer markets across ASEAN.
